45# steel, also known as carbon steel, contains 0.42-0.50% carbon. After quenching and tempering, better cutting performance can be obtained, and higher strength and toughness and other comprehensive mechanical properties can be obtained. After quenching, the surface hardness can reach 45~ -52hrc.
Comparing these three materials, S2 is more suitable for batch material than the other two materials. Because of its impact resistance, high torsion, high hardness and low stress, it is very suitable for tool steel.
